View all 11 comments. She keeps expecting people to recognize her, lol. This is purely based on my own religious beliefs. Immortal Crown started out in a dull note, I reassured myself it would pick up eventually.

That’s the reason I loved the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series because of her writing and her characters. In this society women are treated as “hot commodity” and their religion have a massive impact and influence on their government. She flawlessly weaves together a story in which seemingly isolated incidents, casual interactions, and what appear to be coincidences are anything but.
You are famous and pretty amazing for tying things together and surprising readers we really have no idea what will happen next! The misogyny in this story is almost overwhelming and more richellle I could bear. Immortal Crown isn’t the book I was hoping but I did really like it. It’s like the planets align. As our cast of characters are there immorrtal a “political tour”, it makes the tension between the two crwn even more spectacular and exciting.
I had to pay attention to the small details; something that seems innocuous or obscure may jead into the narrative and shock you as you connect the dots. Country with the most advanced technology in the world but followed closely by the Eastern Alliance, with whom it has friendly diplomatic relations. It sadly falls to the Sequel Syndrome. The tension between Justin and Mae was oh so tangible in this book.
May 13, AH rated it it was amazing Shelves: We get Loki, and I’m really excited about this. Mae wants to bring her niece back and when she learns what her niece will suffer if she’s not saved, Mae will do anything to save her. The twists and turns of this book was absolutely fantastic!

You know there is more behind everything that is going on and you just can’t help but wonder all the possibilities and directions Mead might take us next. Not only is this new goddess dangling an irresistible bribe, she’s paving the way to achieve Mae’s secret desire.
It’s just the actual storyline for the series that is falling flat for me; if this book had been mezd by anyone else, I would’ve given up a long time ago. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The humans are the game pieces and the earth is the gameboard.
She also manage to create wonderfully warped religions, zealots and an entire cast of characters with imperfections.

Immortal Crown is more of an Succubus immortal Top hit or miss for me. I refreshed my memory thank you Recaptains I got right back into this story, and enjoyed the ride even more this time around. Richelle Mead has said that the series won’t be a trilogy, …more Book 3 might never be released because unfortunately, there isn’t much of a market for it. I have to re-read GotG first, frown. Mead received her inspiration.
